5k Road Race for Charity
Thank you for your interest in our second annual 5k race, honoring disabilities service and raising awareness. The race will cover a 5k route, beginning at the Robsham Memorial Visitors Center, and concluding at the Fine Arts Center. We have also set up a special 1k circuit around the Fine Arts Center to coincide with the 5k track to serve those with special needs.
On race-day, we will have a mobility-converted Volvo XC90 SUV, being demonstrated by the Volvo Special Vehicles Manager of North America. The SUV has been converted to serve a driver and passengers with special needs. We will also be giving away prizes generously donated by our sponsors.
Push America and the Theta Mu Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi have successfully built a partnership with the Special Olympics of Western Massachusetts. During the course of the academic year all donations and contributions will go towards the Push America national fund, however with the successful partnership that we have built with the Special Olympics 25% of all contributions will go to the Special Olympics of Western Massachusetts.
