15th Annual Cambodian New Year Celebration
In celebration of the Cambodian New Year, we are having our 15th Annual New Year Celebration.
We are very excited to announce that our Guest MC and singer is the beautiful So Sopheak, who will also be performing with the "Shaolin Band" of Lowell, Mass. after the show. She is well-known in Cambodia as a karaoke star, so tell your parents, relatives, friends and spread the word!
The show itself will include many modern and traditional dances such as the Blessing Dance, Flower Dance, and Love Handkerchief. This year will be a little different from what you may be used to, however. We have collaborated with students from the Amherst Regional High School, as well as kids from the Fort River Elementary School. So you can anticipate their performances in various dances. The show will also will be featuring modern sketches such as "The Journey to the West" and "Khmerican Idol."
If you've ever wondered about Cambodia, its people, its culture, and its talent, what better way to experience it all than to come join us. We've produced just the perfect blend for you, making things that much simpler. Once again, this is a FREE show and we welcome anyone and everyone. We hope to see you there!
