Reception: Thursday May 3, 5-7pm. The reception is open and free to all.
Revisit is a project that focuses on the re-photography of selected sites originally visited by the Farm Security Administration photographers of the 1930's and 1940's.
This project is not just an exploration of the passage of time and the identification of a changing social and economic climate, but it is also my way of taking possession of these sites and claiming them as my own. As the photographers who worked for the FSA took on the job of visually representing our country, I have taken on the job of unionizing their vision with mine.
Directions & Parking
Herter Art Gallery is located at the north end of Herter Hall west of the Fine Arts Center. Public parking is available at all times behind the Robsham Vistors Center and at meters along Haigis Mall. Nights and weekends parking is also available in Lot #71 west of the Whitmore Administration Building.
