Empowerment Through Art: Addressing the Millenium Development Goals

Hilary Wallis is a modern artist based out of Europe and America whose latest work involved pioneering the comprehensive program of Teaching Children in Uganda to use art as a Therapeutic Medium of Expression to Aid Emotional and Social Development, Promote Awareness, and Empower Communities. As a long-time advocate for humanitarian causes, Ms. Wallis recently completed a series of paintings based on her experiences in Africa and the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Her documentary is a detailed narrative of Ms. Wallis’ experiences in Uganda.
