Presentation: Eytan Fox: Israeli Film Director
Eytan Fox is an Israeli film director whose movies include Yossi and Jagger and Walk on Water. Fox's films have won awards at the Berlin Int'l Film Festival, Toronto International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, and the Washington Jewish Film Festival, among others.
Fox, who is openly gay, is known for the gay themes present throughout his movies. Yossi and Jagger deals with two male Israeli army officers who fall in love, and has garnered wide acclaim throughout Israel.
Walk on Water is a international blockbuster that deals with the reconciliation between the grandchildren of German Nazi murderers and the grandchildren of Jewish Israeli victims.
Eytan Fox will be speaking and clips will be shown from his films.
