Life, Fortune, and Sacred Honor: A Civil War Documentary
A student research project on the Civil War; Life, Fortune, and Sacred Honor is a collaboration of junior and senior history majors and Commonwealth College students. A cross section of citizens and historical figures illustrate the events and values of 19th century America. The film provides a non-biased view of the conflict and battles in an attempt to provide a neutral and accurate depiction of the war. The documentary also includes pre-Civil War buildup, as well as the Reconstruction Era.
