First Night Festivities: Van Helsing
Just as New Year's Eve has its First Night Celebrations...UMass wants to welcome first year students to campus in style. Come join the fun, do a little exploring of the Campus Center and enjoy some great performances by our own comedic improvisation troupe, Mission Improv. You can catch a movie or grab a snack with your new best friends!
First Night Movie: Van Helsing, at 9 pm & 11 pm. In the late 19th century Bram Stoker’s fabled monster-hunter, Van Helsing, is called to Eastern Europe to vanquish evil forces there. The beings go by the names of Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster and the Wolf Man. His beautiful assistant - Anna from a family with a long history of hunting Dracula – and he use all of their talents and special weaponry in this action adventure.
