Up Til Dawn
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is the largest center in the United States for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other childhood catastrophic diseases. St. Jude patients are treated without regard to a family's ability to pay. This is made possible by the money received from generous donors accross the country.
It's our second annual Up Til Dawn at UMass Amherst, and we hope to make this year even more successful than the last! Last year we raised nearly $17,000 for the kids of St. Jude!
The entire campus is welcome to participate in this wonderful cause! Students are asked to form their own teams of 6, and bring with them a list of 50 names and addresses of people they know. At the event, the teams will sit down and fill out letters requesting donations to the hospital, and mail them out to their 50 names. Donations will go directly to patient care and research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This event will have free food, prizes, raffles, music, and games.
