Exhibit: Women of Hope

Note: The exhibit closes at 3pm on Friday, and is open until 5pm otherwise.

Our vision is to recognize local, national and international women of color for using their natural and learned skills to uplift their community. To that end, we purchased the complete 60 Women of Hope (WOH) poster series from Union 1199's Bread & Roses Cultural Project, featuring a portrait and mini-bio of national and international women. To round out the exhibit, we also designed eleven original posters of our own outstanding local Women of Hope. The exhibit is organized into six groups: African American, Latina, Asian American, Native American/Hawaiian, International and our own local women of the Pioneer Valley. All of our seventy plus posters are beautifully designed and each portrait speaks a powerful message in itself. By bringing the WOH exhibit to UMass Amherst, the entire community will be able to recognize the leader within themselves.
