SGA Nominations Period

The Student Government Association (SGA) is holding a general elections for the positions of Student Trustee, Student Government President, and Area Governments in March. All current, full-time, fee paying undergraduates may run and vote for any of these positions, while all fee-paying graduate students may run and vote for the position of Student Trustee.

Voting for these elections will take place Wednesday March 28th and Thursday, March 29th from 10am - 2pm and from 5pm - 8pm at all the Dining Commons and in the Campus Center Concourse.

As advertised in the Collegian, nominations for these positions opened at 10am on Thursday, March 1st and they will close at noon on Thursday March 15th. Nomination forms available in the SGA office located at 420 Student Union, from 10am – 5pm on weekdays.

Students running for SGA President or Student Trustee must gather 250 signatures, while students running for Area Government positions (including the positions of Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Treasure and Secretary for the Commuter, North, North East, Orchard Hill, Central or Southwest Residential Areas) must gather 100 signatures in order to be nominated.
