Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

Students in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the UMass Isenberg School of Management will be offering free income tax assistance to qualified taxpayers as part of VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program) at the Isenberg School of Management.

From February 13, 2007 to April 12, 2007 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings student volunteers will assist taxpayers with the preparation of their Federal and State income tax returns for domestic and international tax returns.

There will be no services the week of March 19 due to spring break.

Services are first come first serve.

The domestic group serves low-income tax-payers, those for whom English is a second language,and the physically and mentally challenged.

The international group serves international students and scholars from the 5-College community.
