This project deals with the past and the present, about memory. The photographs are of Vesna Vrankovic's family house in Croatia, including objects around the house, the surroundings, showing how the things look now, eleven years after the war has ended.
For each group of photographs Vesna wrote a couple of sentences, memories from her childhood, something like a diary. The project also shows what was happening in the country during the time when it was going through the
changes; but looking at things from child’s point of view, how she saw the things around me.

Directions & Parking
The Student Union Building is in the central area of the UMass campus. The Art Gallery is on the first floor of the Student Union, located on the South Side the Building, across from Earth Foods and the Cape Cod Lounge. Parking is available in the adjacent Campus Center Parking Garage.
