Globalization: Curse or Blessing- An African Perspective
The event will commence with a short 30 minute networking session where food will be provided. UMASS faculty from the departments of Sociology, Economics and Communication will then give brief oral presentations concerning particular aspects of Globalization such as gender, the role of the media, politics and culture. This will then be followed by a dialogue session where members of the audience will engage the panelists in discussions related to Globalization.
