To become part of the National Bone Marrow Registry is actually quite simple. All the typing consists of is a mouth swab, which is then anaylzed and your results are then entered into the national registry. The registry conducts a daily search for matches, in which if you matched someone you would be contacted for further testing. Minority donors are urgently needed. By entering the registry you could potentiallly save a life some day!
