Schola Nova Performs Mozart, Haydn, Telemann, and Biebl

As part of the continuing Music at Newman series, Schola Nova is returning to campus to perform music of Mozart, Haydn, Telemann, Biebl. Starting its 24th season, the group, under the leadership of its new director, Terry Larsen (formerly of Chanticleer) numbers twenty-two singers and will be accompanied by organist E Lary Grossman,'85, and a string trio of current UMass Amherst music students. The program features Haydn's Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo, Mozart's Regina Coeli and Laudate Dominum, Telemann's Psalm 117, and Biebl's Ave Maria.

The program will be repeated on Sunday, November 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Mother of Sorrows Chapel, Providence Place, Holyoke, Mass.
