Paul Laurence Dunbar Symposium: " 'His Heart's Deep Core,' Freeing the Caged Bird"
Please join us as we gather to honor, celebrate, and discuss the influential African American poet, novelist, playwright, and essayist Paul Laurence Dunbar. Dunbar's writings garnered him national acclaim, but moreover provided a voice for African Americans in the midst of tumult at the turn of the century. His work continues to speak to us today, 100 years after his death.
