Peace Corps General Information Meeting

Peace Corps offers you an exceptional opportunity to put your education, experience and abilities to work internationally. We are always looking for qualified applicants, especially those with skills in scarce, hard-to-find areas of agriculture, environment, English teaching and science backgrounds, and those with French language skills.

During 27 months abroad, you receive a great international experience that will compliment your degree as well as gain valuable skills through helping others help themselves. You receive a monthly stipend, transportation, medical and dental care, and a readjustment allowance at the end of your service. Returned Volunteers also receive non-competitive eligibility for federal jobs, which makes it easier for you to be hired with the US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, NOAA, EPA and other government agencies.

Come find out about the opportunities that await you in Peace Corps!
