Learning Commons Academic Open House
Come to the Learning Commons to see one of the best places to study on campus and find out about the academic support services available to help you succeed.
You can also enjoy music, refreshments and prizes. Some of the resources that will be available include information about academic advising, internships, co-ops, community service, study abroad, domestic exchange, career services, counseling and assessment services, disability services, English as a Second Language, International Programs, Residential Academic Programs, Talent Advancement Programs, the Five College Interchange, and the Writing Center. You can also find information at these areas: Learning Resource Center, Office of Information Technologies (OIT), Reserves, Circulation, and Reference and Research Assistance.
While visiting The Learning Commons students can print out their schedule from SPIRE, get technology assistance, and learn how to combine their academic and social lives successfully while at UMass Amherst.
