Tai Chi Chuan & Pa Kua Chang: Internal Kung Fu at UMass
The UMass Inner Arts Club offers ongoing classes in Tai Chi Chuan & Pa Kua Chang, two of the three Chinese internal "sister" arts for health and self defense.
Forms, internal conditioning (Nei Kung), Push Hands, defense applications, Tai Chi Sword form and fencing; meditation, Chi Kung, and Taoist Yoga. Slow-fast, soft-explosive energy release training. Philosophical basis of practice.
Practice tailored to individual needs and abilities. Core exercises to benefit martial/healing arts practitioners of any style.
