SoccerFest 2006
The two-day event will kick-off on Friday, May 5, with the annual Soccer Showdown, which pits the UMass men’s soccer team against 2005 Ivy League champion, Dartmouth College. The game will begin at 4:30 p.m. and takes place at Rudd Field. The SoccerFest tournament will take place on Saturday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to dusk on the practice fields behind McGuirk Football Stadium. The culmination of the 2006 SoccerFest will occur Saturday afternoon at Rudd Field when the UMass women’s soccer team concludes its spring season against the New England Mutiny of the Women’s Premier Soccer League. The two squads will square off at 3:30 p.m.
Registration Fees:
* 6 v 6 teams: $ 120/team
* college-student 6 v 6 teams (with a valid ID): $ 100/team
* Single: $15 for college students (with a valid ID) ; $20 for all others 18+
