The Story of Hong Kong and Shenzhen in Multiple Dimensions

With a combined population of 20 million people, the twin cities of Hong Kong-Shenzhen have many interesting stories to tell every day. Dr. Peter Yum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong will share his experiences of life in the twin cities and will provide insights that are typically not found in tourist guidebooks. He will talk about history, identity, education, economics, the government, the media, how people live, how they see each other and how they see the world. He will also offer advice on experiencing the twin city through student/ faculty exchange with universities in Hong Kong. Dr. Yum’s lecture will be amply illustrated by colorful visuals.
