Zany Angels: Shameless
Everywoman's Center presents Zany Angels, a project of artists of Rythea Lee and Rose Oceania, a dance/theater company with a mission to open hearts and expand awareness around the issues of trauma and abuse through performance art that is accessible, well-crafted, and playful. Their production of “Shameless” is a trilogy that combines spoken word, dance and song, and includes: When God Was Not My Father, a multi-media story about a child’s relationship to her famous father; Mothers Martyrs and Muffins: The Musical, addressing issues of food within a dysfunctional family and Butterflies Make the Best Dancers, about the human spirit’s amazing capacity to cope and heal from childhood abuse.
