Great Decisions Program: Turkey: On Europe's Verge
Five College Learning in Retirement (5CLIR) presents the fourth program in the Foreign Policy Association’s (FPA) Great Decisions, 2006 program: “Turkey: On Europe’s Verge,” with speaker Professor Monica Ringer of Amherst College. Dr. Ringer is a Professor in the Departments of History and Asian Languages and Civilizations at Amherst College. She has taught a seminar on modern Turkey and on the Middle East from 1800 to the Present, among other things.
One final program follows on Friday, April 28, and all programs are designed to promote interest in and knowledge of foreign affairs.
