Five College Learning in Retirement announces the third program in the Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions 2006 series of programs, sponsored in the Valley by 5CLIR.
Five College Learning in Retirement presents “The Energy Policy Conundrum," with speaker Professor Michael Klare of Hampshire College. Prof. Klare, Director of the Five College Program in Peace and World Security Studies (PAWSS), is the author of Blood and Oil: The Dangers and Consequences of America’s Growing Dependency on Imported Petroleum. Professor Klare is also the defense correspondent of The Nation.
Two other programs follow on Fridays in April (21 and 28), and all are designed to promote interest in and knowledge of foreign affairs.
