Celebrate Women's History

The Graduate Women’s Program of the Graduate Student Senate and Everywoman’s Center will be hosting a celebration and reception in honor of Women’s History Month! Marlene Gerber Fried, Director of the Civil Liberties Program at Hampshire College will be speaking about contemporary women’s history in her address, “History in the Making: Reproductive Justice and South Dakota." Eboni Rafus, Coordinator of the Graduate Women’s Network will be discussing, “How Far Have We Come: Reflections on Women’s History Month." Entertainment will be provided by the UMass women’s a capella singing group Six Minutes. Add in the fabulous food and we have a party celebrating women’s history!

This gathering will also feature a resource fair of women's groups and organizations, including representatives from the Everywoman’s Center, the Graduate Women’s Network, Take Back the Night, the Women of Color Leadership Network, Women’s Health Project, Women’s Studies, and VOX: Students for Choice and more.
