Author Brandt Goldstein to Discuss "Storming the Court"
Brandt Goldstein, author of Storming the Court, will discuss the true story of law students and human rights lawyers who shut down the first Guantanamo detention camp in the early 1990s. His lecture will include issues relating to the abuse of presidential powers, political refugee status, and a detention camp for Haitians with AIDS, in addition to the impact students can have on the political process.
