Third Annual Kaulenas Lecture: Genes for Development and Disease in Zebrafish
Professor Nancy Hopkins, Amgen Professor of Biology in the Biology Department and Center for Cancer Research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will be speaking on "Genes for Development and Disease in Zebrafish."
This is the third in an annual series of lectures in honor of Mindaugas (Steve) Kaulenas, Professor from 1967-2002 and Chair of the departments of Zoology and Biology for thirteen years. Dr. Kaulenas was an active researcher and enthusiastic lecturer focusing on developmental biology and the biology of aging. The public is cordially invited to attend the lecture, sponsored by the Biology Department, the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Kaulenas Gift Fund. Refreshments will be served.
