Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
Students in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the UMass Isenberg School of Management will be offering free income tax assistance to qualified taxpayers as part of VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program).
From February 14, 2006 to April 13, 2006 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Isenberg School of Management, student volunteers will assist taxpayers with the preparation of their Federal and State income tax returns for domestic and international tax returns.
Services are first come first serve.
The domestic group serves low-income tax-payers, those for whom English is a second language, and the physically and mentally challenged.
The international group serves international students and scholars from the 5-College community.
