UMass Labor Chorus Rehearsal
Do you like to sing? Do you belong to a Union? Do you work at UMass?
This past Fall, fifteen women and men representing the majority of the unions on campus came together to form the UMass Labor Chorus!
During the Spring, the Labor Chorus will meet on eight Wednesdays. Our first rehearsal will be held on March 1. There are no auditions and there will be lots of opportunity to learn new songs! The musical conductor is Anne Louise White, and the organizer is UMass staff member and PSU/MTA Chapter Board member Sandy
Mandel. For the past twenty years, Anne Louise White has directed choruses and led classes in vocal technique, harmony singing and performance skills.
The chorus will include women and men, students and faculty, service workers and professional staff who would all have an answer in common to the questions: Do you work at UMass? Do you belong to a union? Do you like to sing? If the answer is "yes", then come and join the UMass Labor Chorus!
If you are interested in joining or learning more about the UMass Labor Chorus, please contact Sandy at smandel@admin.umass.edu. or 413-545-5827
