UMass Ballroom Dance Team Tryouts
UMass Ballroom Dance Team is a vibrant group of people from five colleges. The team gets coaching from the award winning Ballroom Fever Dance Studio and participates in about 3-5 competitions every semester. The team has been doing amazingly well at various competitions at different places and levels. The team also performs at various venues and organizes other dance related activities like the club on Monday evenings. It's a lot of fun!
The tryout is your chance to be a part of this wonderful team. You don't need to have any experience. You don't need to bring any dance shoes or partner. We will show you some basic moves and have auditions based on them. To be specific, we are not looking for talent, but people who are very much interested in dancing and performing. This is open for any student of any of the five colleges.
