Lacanian-Marxist philosopher Slavoj Žižek is an academic star who ran for president in Slovenia’s first democratic election in 1990. He travels the globe from NYC to Buenos Aires, obsessively revealing the workings of ideology, psychoanalysis and pop culture and astutely analyzing his own private life for the camera.
