13th Annual Massachusetts Multicultural Film Festival 2006 "Henri Langlois"
Featuring a wealth of archival footage, including interviews with Godard, Truffaut, and Chabrol, this documentary traces Langlois’ heroic efforts to save world film culture, from the Cinematheque’s founding in the 1930s to its tenuous survival under Nazi occupation and Langlois’ removal in the 1960s, which prompted rioting in the streets of Paris.
