College of Engineering and the College of Natural Resources and Community College Day 2006
Community College Day is a recruitment and informational event for local community college students, staff and faculty. Each year we meet to highlight new programs and initiatives, discuss curriculum and provide tours our latest lab facilities. Our faculty and staff from the College of Engineering and the College of Natural Resources and the Environment will be on hand to answer all your questions throughout the day.
The College of Engineering and the College of Natural Resources and the Environment invite you to attend Community College Day. We have expanded the program this year to include more departments including: Environmental Sciences; Food Science; Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning; Microbiology; Natural Resource Conservation; Plant, Soil and Insect Sciences; Resource Economics; and Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
The presentations will be a dual format. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the transfer admissions process, financial aid, and hear from current students who transferred to the University. Faculty and staff will learn about curriculum requirements and the initiatives of individual departments. During lunch, students will be able to speak to representatives from departments in which they have an interest as well as financial aid and admissions representatives. After lunch, the colleges will offer tours of facilities for students, faculty and staff.
Registration will begin at 9:30am. The program will start at 10:00am.
