Alternative Spring Break: Applications Now Being Accepted
The UMass Civic Interfaith Alliance Alternative Break program is the oldest Alternative Spring Break program at UMass. Its associated course, "History 396A: History, Culture, and Spirituality," is a 2-credit independent study in community service learning that combines the exploration of personal heritage and values with the study of social justice struggles in the United States. Applications are still being accepted through January 15, 2006. Preference is given to those who apply by the December 15 deadline.
