“Reading & Math Stars - Helping Improve Early Learner Literacy”

The Reading & Math Stars program was developed as an innovative activity-based set of supplemental materials to strengthen reading literacy and math problem solving skills for children in Kindergarten to Fourth grade. The program is comprised of short activities based on diverse historical characters. Simple phonics, math skills, and hands-on activities are combined to engage students. The materials are delivered with professional development components that cover general themes and strategies for effective and inclusive pedagogy, developing reading literacy, and mathematical problem solving.
