Microsoft SharePoint Presentation
Several campus groups are interested in finding ways to collaborate effectively as a team online. Microsoft has created a software solution called SharePoint Portal for creating and implementing these Web-based collaborative environments.
Philip DesAutels from Microsoft will introduce SharePoint, demonstrate its capabilities, outline its strengths over competitors' products and walk us through the required resources and processes to implement it. UMass Amherst has a collaboration with Microsoft and Philip is committed to getting interested faculty and staff resources to support implementation of the company's products on campus.
