Social Networks and Leadership

You are invited to a lecture on Social Networks and Leadership presented by Dr. Dan Brass.

This presentation will introduce the social network perspective on organizations and discuss some of the key concepts. Following a brief overview of key findings concerning social capital in organizations, he will present his current research on social networks and leadership, which suggests that leaders' social networks are related to group performance and leader reputation.

Dr. Dan Brass is the J. Henning Hilliard Professor of Innovation Management in the Gatton College of Business and Economics at University of Kentucky, and is currently serving as an Associate Editor of Administrative Science Quarterly.
