Episcopal Chaplaincy Grand Opening
Please join students and the campus community for the grand opening of the newly constructed Ark Episcopal Center at UMass Amherst.
Located 100 yards north of Lederle GRC, the new space will host a variety of programs and events throughout the year including lectures, art exhibits, musical performances, and other cultural activities. The new space, designed by UMass Architect Ray Kinoshita use a beautifully minimalist design that encourages reflection, warmth, and creativity.
The celebration will feature an exhibit of the works of artist Barry Moser, the premier performance of a specially commissioned musical composition by UMass music professor Lynn Klock, and a dedication and blessing by Western Massachusetts Bishop Gordon Scruton. All are welcomed. Refreshments will be served.
