The Forum on Social Wealth: Herman Daly
The Political Economy Research Institute is pleased to announce the launch of The Forum on Social Wealth, an effort to develop a new vision of wealth and value. In the course of the 2005-06 academic year, the Forum will bring six distinguished thinkers to speak at UMass.
One of the world's most notable environmental thinkers, Herman E. Daly is currently Professor at the University of Maryland in the School of Public Affairs. His numerous works include: Steady-State Economics, Beyond Growth, and For the Common Good. Daly is also a co-founder of the journal Ecological Economics and serves on its editorial board.
Directions & Parking
Gordon Hall is located on the east side of campus near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and North Pleasant Street. Visitors may park at the meters in Lot #34 behind the Robsham Visitor's Center on Massachusetts Avenue.
