Info-Gap Analysis of Preparedness and Response to Bio-Terror
Professor Ben-Haim is the author of four books and numerous articles dealing with non-probabilistic uncertainty and information-gap decision theory. His research has provided decision-support for strategic situations fraught with severe uncertainty including strategic planning, environmental management, medical, and economic and social decision-making problems. Info-gap decision strategies have been applied to problems in monetary policy and to the economics of national security. This presentation focuses on info-gap applications to bio-terrorism and public policy.
Presented by the Departments of Resource Economics and Mechanical and Industrial Engineering in conjunction with the Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Response Institute (SEPRI), and the Isenberg School of Management INFORMS Chapter.
This event is free and open to the public.
