Film Screening & Discussion Russian, French, and German 1920s Avant Garde Cinema
A selection of newly released, digitally restored avant-garde short films from the 1920s will be screened, featuring such artists as Eggeling, Eisenstein, Epstein, Leger, Richter, and Ruttmann, followed by a panel discussion with artists Svetlana and Igor Kopystiansky and Professor Barton Byg, Germanic Languages & Literatures, DEFA Film Library.
