Into Amherst: First Week
Get involved and serve! Join the UMass Office of Community Service Learning as it engages in community service activities in the Amherst community and beyond. Projects in Amherst include working in local conservation areas, painting the interior and exterior of buildings, improving playgrounds, gardening, and other projects organized through some 15 local community organizations and Town of Amherst programs. Sign-up at the Office of Community Service Learning booth either at the Activities Expo, or on the Campus Concourse; or call the Office of Community Service Learning at (413) 545-2015. Be sure to sign-up early since numbers are limited.
