Broadway in Amherst: Cats
The innaugural season of Broadway in Amherst concludes with a special two night performance of Cats.
After a record-breaking 18 year run on Broadway, the show is on an all new North American tour. Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, and with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cats won seven 1983 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Lighting and Best Costumes. Now that it’s been seen by over 8,250,000 audience members, it is time to introduce CATS to a new generation.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 10 a. m. and are priced at $65.00, $57.50 and $50.00. There is a 10% discount for children ages 2-12. Tickets can be purchased at the Mullins Center Box Office, any ticketmaster outlet, by phone at (413) 733-2500.
