25th Annual Summer Institute in Arts Management

This year's conference is centered around the theme, "Creative Assets: Our Organizations, Our People, Our Communities," and will feature three tracks:

Fundamentals of Arts Management focuses on the basics of managing a non-profit organization, with examples drawn from arts organizations.

The Creative Community will investigate the nature of community health, and analyze the role that arts organizations can play in strengthening a community's health.

Tom Wolff, PhD, an internationally acclaimed expert on community strengthening, will be featured, as will Tom Borrup of Minneapolis.

It's About People offers an arts-based experiential opportunity to explore intercultural communication, human relations management and personal time management.

This year's Institute is presented in partnership with the Center for Creative Community Development (C3D) and MASS MoCA. Tuesday, June 21st participants will take a one-day field trip to North Adams, MA to study the impact of institutions such as MASS MoCA on economic and community health in the region.
