Violist Matthew Hunter Returns to Amherst
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra violist Matthew Hunter returns to his native Amherst for a concert with pianist Estela Olevsky.
Hunter studied with Estela Olevsky's late husband, UMass Amherst Professor Julian Olevsky.
The concert will feature Telemann's Viola Concerto in G Major, Ernest Bloch's Meditation & Processional for Viola & Piano (1954) & Brahms' Sonata for Viola & Piano, Op. 120, No. 1 in f minor.
