Campus Appreciation Day
We are pleased to announce the revival of the UMass Amherst Campus Appreciation Day picnic. Campus staff and faculty, their families and university retirees are invited to join this informal celebration of the campus and our accomplishments over the 2004-2005 academic year!
Registration begins at 4:30 on Metawampe Lawn with picnic fare served beginning at 5:00pm. Festivities continue through 7:00 pm and include:
- Fran Ferry, Magician
- Oompah Band
- UMass Athletics
- Antique Auto Show
- UMass Police Units
- Raffle
- Bingo
- Pie Eating Contest
- Academic Department Displays
Each attendee receives a FREE voucher for for the October 8, 2005 football game between UMass and Northeastern!
Help us make the 2005 CAD picnic a success by joining the fun as a volunteer! Cook or serve food, participate on our "games and recreation crew," help us set up or break down the picnic area. Just as your contributions to the campus are important on a daily basis, your assistance is integral to making this campus celebration a success!
