The program includes five graduate student presentations: three given by students in the UMass master's degree program in art history, and two given by guests from the University of Maryland and the Harvard University Extension School.
Our keynote speaker is Christy Anderson, a graduate of our program and Associate Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Toronto. Her presentation is entitled "The Lightness of Stone, and Other Stories of Architectural Materials." Other topics include Picassso, Durer, Toulouse-Lautrec, Minor White, and Hiram Powers.
Refreshments will be served.
