Renting 101: Your First Apartment
For students intending to move off campus, this is the first of two workshops in the Preferred Renter Series.
Students will leave knowing basic landlord tenant information like: what landlords are permitted to charge upfront, how to document move-in conditions to protect their security deposit, the importance of having a housemate agreement, and the applicable Federal, State, and town of Amherst by-laws.
