MASSPIRG Energy Efficiency Earth Day
MASSPIRG is working to pass the Energy Efficiency Standards Bill in Massachusetts which would decrease pollution and save money. Students from UMass will be holding an event to spread awareness about this issue and encourage senators to get behind this bill. There will be music, food, and environmental action!
The Massachusetts Student Public Interest Research Group is a state-wide, student directed and funded organization that works on environmental, consumer protection, and democracy issues. MASSPIRG's mission is to watchdog special interests like big banks, oil companies, and auto companies, to hold our politicans accountable, and to ensure that our interests as citizens are protected.
