March For a Fair Contract

Graduate employees at UMass Amherst have been bargaining with UMass for over a year for a new contract. UMass continues to propose real wage cuts, cuts to healthcare and the exclusion of currently covered same-sex couples, and drastic increases in childcare costs. If you thought UMass was the state school where working people and families could get an education and better their lives, think again! A typical grad family could be paying $5000 more next year for the same childcare services; our health care costs could quadruple over the next three years.

March with us to beat back the attack.
